Lizzie Garwood

I’m Lizzie Garwood, a Multimedia Content Producer specialising in 2D animation. I aim to produce colourful, fun work that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Since in 2018, I’ve won first place in the UK Manga Jiman comic competition, self-published two comics, exhibited at London MCM comic con, and have produced dozens of short animations and videos which have accumulated over three million views online. I’m also always trying to learn new skills to streamline my workflow and extend my practice. I love to experiment with mixing different styles and textures in my finished pieces, such as combining 2D and 3D or incorporating hand-painted elements.

I’m so excited to be working with Wessex Archaeology creating engaging digital content as well as animations and comic books. I will be using my skills to encourage engagement with heritage, and to help new audiences connect with the past through presenting it in fun and interesting ways.

When I’m not at work I’m usually either still drawing, playing games or searching for cute dog videos online.
