Trowbridge Castle Excavations 1988, Wiltshire

In 1988 excavations took place on the recently-cleared site of the Co-operative Dairy Depot, on the south side of Court Street. This was the final stage in the archaeological investigation of the site of the 12th century Trowbridge Castle (Rogers 1984, 12-13).
