Wessex Archaeology worked with the National Trust to record the historic fabric of the Grade I listed 18th century stable block and riding school at Nostell Priory, Wakefield.

This major project will ensure that the building is sympathetically restored and adapted to meet the changing needs of the Estate. Our buildings team is undertaking a programme of architectural photography and detailed survey throughout the works to document and interpret the many phases of structural alteration that have occurred during the last 250 years.
