Expertise

Heritage Consultancy

I joined Wessex Archaeology at the beginning of 2024 to support the International Team as a built heritage expert. I am involved in business development, fieldwork, research, and consultancy.

Before joining Wessex, I worked on the conservation, surveying, preservation, and recording of historic sites in the Near East. Through this, I gained extensive experience in fieldwork and community engagement. With my academic background and practical experience, I have mentored archaeology students by offering guidance and support as they complete their research projects. I have also shared my expertise through conferences and seminars for both specialist and non-specialist audiences to help them gain a deeper understanding of the historic environment.

I earned my master's degree in architecture in 2019 and soon after began my doctoral studies. My research focused on medieval buildings and their architectural elements. I completed my PhD in History in 2024 and am now working on publishing my thesis as a book, titled “Closing Systems of 12th- and 13th-Century Buildings in the Near East”.

Outside of work, you will find me experimenting in the kitchen, playing badminton, and enjoying anything that gets me outdoors whether it’s camping, hiking or swimming.
