My role at Wessex Archaeology is Occupational Health and Safety Advisor. I provide professional and customer focused OHS support, workings as an ambassador for OHS throughout the company. I review, design and deliver procedure, policy and audit documentation as well as review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

I work with colleagues providing support on OHS matters, offering advice and providing solutions. I am also responsible for the creation, delivery and support to deliver toolbox talks relating to OHS on site and across departments within the midlands, Southern and south-western regions. I carry out OHS audits across all departments and produce regular OHS bulletins to keep the company informed.

Prior to my current role, I managed health and safety on large scale complex field projects for over five years in my role as Project Manager at Wessex Archaeology. I enjoyed over 15 years full-time as a Field Archaeologist on the circuit before assuming roles in consultancy and Secondary Education. I have worked as an Archaeologist across the UK, the Republic of Ireland, the Republic of Cyprus, in Dubai and Kuwait.
