Roberta Marziani

I work in the Geomatics department in Salisbury where my role covers a diverse set of tasks covering technical support to field directing Geomatics projects. Projects I have been involved with include topographic surveys, laser scanning, photogrammetry and 3D modelling of archaeological features and historical buildings.

Our team has led the way in embracing new technologies which have improved the way we record archaeology across the company and increased the range of projects we undertake. It is exciting and engaging for me to be part of such a multifaceted and versatile organisation which allows me to experiment with new technologies to find the best solutions for complex projects. 

In my spare time I like photography, going on long walks and exercising, reading sci-fi books and travelling to exotic archaeological sites.
