Piotr Orczewski

I am currently a Fieldwork Director based in the Salisbury office. My role involves directing a variety of small, medium and large scale projects across Southern England. I am particularly interested in the Saxon and medieval periods, with a focus on arms and armour.

I am a strong believer in delivering the best results, achieved in the most professional way, but without sacrificing the joy of discovery and the good comradeship on archaeological sites.

Outside of work I am a keen experimental archaeologist, with a particular interest in medieval food and drink. I enjoy loud music, good books and video games, and travel as much as possible with my wife.
