Expertise

Manager Key staff Heritage Consultancy

Working as Project Manager since 2014, I manage the built heritage team in Salisbury covering projects in central and southern England with recent commissions also in the Channel Isles and Cyprus. My team specialises in providing architects, developers and home owners with heritage advice, assessments and statements to achieve consents as well as a comprehensive range of recording services to discharge planning conditions.

Since joining Wessex Archaeology in 2003, I have managed a diverse and interesting range of projects including the documenting through photogrammetry and fabric analysis of the Roman and medieval walls at Portchester Castle for English Heritage and large scale programmes of metric building recording of early 20th century and Cold War military sites including at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Bridgwater and at the Salisbury Plain Camps of Bulford, Larkhill and Tidworth associated with the Army Basing Programme.

I am motivated by problem solving, helping our clients achieve successful outcomes and increasing our knowledge of our historic built environment.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors as much as possible: working at my allotment, camping, walking, bird watching and fishing.
