Martin Janse van Noordwyk

I joined Wessex Archaeology’s Salisbury office in 2017 as IT Director. My role is to bring the needs of the business together with technology to ensure business continuity and success. I have over 18 years of experience in IT including roles as Systems Administrator, Software Developer, Support Manager and IT Manager. As a Certified Microsoft Professional and Project Manager I have a strong background in IT systems & infrastructure planning, design and implementation, support services and networking.

Producing a robust and innovative IT infrastructure, systems and support and seeing the positive effect it can have throughout the entire business is what motivates me to keep pushing the technological boundaries.

In my spare time, I am a dedicated archer and can be found firing countless arrows at my local club. I also enjoy playing the acoustic guitar.
