Mark Turner

I joined Wessex Archaeology’s Sheffield office at the end of 2016 as a senior heritage manager. After 27 years of experience, I have particular expertise in large scale infrastructure projects, gained on contracts such as Channel Tunnel Rail Link (HS1) and I currently lead Wessex Archaeology’s involvement with the High Speed Two (HS2) Rail Link. I’m experienced in dealing with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), both as an EIA project manager and as a technical lead and assessor particularly in the renewables sector. I have been involved in Public Inquiries both in preparing documentation and appearing as an expert witness.
