Linda Coleman

I originally joined Wessex Archaeology as an illustrator right back in 1989 and worked on a variety of projects from popular booklets and display panels to publications and client reports. In 2014 I was appointed Quality and Production Manager which has ultimately led to my current role as Quality Director for the organisation.

In this leadership role, it is my responsibility to embed a quality approach into the heart of everything we do as an organisation and ensure it aligns with our strategy and objectives. I report on the performance of our quality management systems to the Senior Management Team and work with them to communicate and demonstrate the importance of maintaining standards throughout the organisation and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Wessex Archaeology was awarded ISO 9001 certification in March 2015. This is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system and demonstrates an ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

I am motivated by wanting to bring about positive, sustainable change; whether small working process transformations or broader, cultural approaches to help drive the business forward.

In my spare time I enjoy gardening and visiting historic sites and houses.
