Expertise

The Studio

I joined Wessex Archaeology in June 2024, as a Photographer / Videographer working in the Studio Team. My role includes a wide variety of tasks such as capturing staff portraits, finds photography, and site visits for both filming and photography. I create bespoke videos for clients as well as internally commissioned videos for promotional material and training resources.

My role is important for Heritage as video and photography provide a record of the work we carry out. Imagery can also be a powerful tool to help audiences relate to people, objects and events from the past.

I’m excited to be working for Wessex Archaeology as I love photography, filming, history and heritage! I love learning about interesting subjects and finding out how processes work, I then create films and photographs that can make these subjects appealing and accessible for others. I enjoy the challenge of creating fresh and interesting visual angles to tell a story.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy films, pizza and reading Harry Potter with my family, playing guitar and running.
