I joined Wessex Archaeology in August of 2022 as a Marine Geophysicist based in the Salisbury office. After completing a masters in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Malta in 2018, I entered the field of commercial archaeology and set up my own consulting business within the EIA sector. I occasionally participate in several projects including an intertidal wreck survey on the Sandwich Bay Flats, as well as surveying of the wreck of RMS Lusitania. I am also the current Chair of CIfA’s Marine Archaeology SIG.

My role at Wessex consists of analysing marine geophysical data including Side Scan Sonar, Bathymetry and Magnetometry. I am motivated by a desire to better understand the marine environment, through changes on the seabed and the threats posed by Unexploded Ordnance and other shipwreck hazards. With increased reliance on offshore renewables and the threat posed by Climate Change to the marine environment, this role combines several of my interests while developing my skills further.

In my free time, I am also a keen diver and like to travel the globe picking up new musical and cooking influences.
