The site is in there somewhere! Wrapped up for winter to protect it from the rages of the sea - which looks benign enough now but sadly has taken its toll on the lower edges of the site (which extends ... or did ... to the level of the summer high tides), the damage that can be inflicted by angry water is staggering. But, that's why we are here to rescue what we can of this amazing site before it is lost to the sea. Tantalisingly cloaked by that black wrapping lies the entrance to Rousay's most recently discovered chambered tomb .... (Check out the Swandro web page for what we know of it so far)
