Wessex Archaeology were pleased to be asked to present at the Marine Aggregate Industry Best Practice launch event hosted by BMAPA and The Crown Estate that took place on Tuesday 10th December 2013 at Prince Philip House Carlton House Terrace – the Royal Academy of Engineering.
 
There were over 80 attendees at the meeting which was showcasing examples of marine aggregate industry best practice. There were speeches from both the CEOs of The Crown Estate and Mineral Products Association (BMAPA's parent body) and from George Eustice MP (Under Sectretary of State for farming, food and marine environment). Euan McNeill of Coastal & Marine at Wessex Archaeology presented on Aggregate Dredging and the Historic Environment: Palaeo-Yare, an example of best practice.
