Wessex Archaeology staff are delighted to have been nominated in the category of Rescue Dig of the Year for our Longforth Farm project. This excavation in Wellington, Somerset resulted in the discovery of a mystery medieval manor house which inspired over 1700 members of the local community to explore their heritage.
