This Saturday Kent Jones from the London & South East office took part in a death defying stunt in aid of the restoration fund of All Saints Church Maidstone. A fascinating and important heritage monument in the centre of the town.

Kent was the first to arrive eager to test his mettle – we did not remind him that he would also be testing the equipment! After signing in Kent was whisked to the starting point where the safety conscious organisers had Kent safely strapped in!

His sacrifice recognised, Kent was awarded a bravery certificate both for completing the event – a certificate that now has pride of place at the Regional Office.

Regional Manager Mark Williams said, ‘I can’t believe I am doing this on a Saturday morning . . .no one even reads this blog!’

But in the end the stress got a bit too much for the little chap who probably shouldn’t have had such a hearty breakfast!
