Wessex Archaeology’s Phil Harding returns to our screens this weekend in an episode of the History Channel’s series Grave Trade.

Grave Trade follows the everyday business of a modern funeral director whilst exploring burials from the past, revealing similarities and traditions that have survived the test of time. The series shadows several archaeologists as they excavate burials dating from the Neolithic to the Victorian period.

Episode one features Phil Harding and his team discovering an interesting Anglo-Saxon cemetery on the site of existing Bronze Age burial mounds in Amesbury. This episode airs on the History Channel on Sunday 16th February at 9pm.
