Wessex Archaeology is proud to be nominated for a

Current Archaeology Award 2014. 

 

Our investigation of a mystery medieval building complex at Longforth Farm, Wellington has been nominated in the category of Rescue Dig of the Year. Community engagement activities at the site enabled local people to witness this exciting discovery. Four primary schools, five historical societies and over 1400 local residents visited the site over the course of one week!
