Being Heard in the EU

Wessex Archaeology is pleased to announce that we are now an Associate Member of Europa Nostra, a network representing cultural heritage across Europe. This is a first for a UK Archaeological practice and allows us to contribute our unique experience of the issues affecting heritage today.

 

We are now one of 150 Associate Member organizations whose primary interest is protecting and preserving Europe’s heritage. It is a direct means of ensuring our voice is heard within the EU and also gives us unique access to a network of like-minded organizations to share best practices and new thinking.

 

Europa Nostra run a prestigious annual Heritage Awards programme and being a member will allow us to showcase some of the work we do in the UK internationally.
