Our Chief Executive, Chris Brayne, was pleased to attend Europa Nostra’s 50th Anniversary conference event in Brussels this week. Our membership of this organisation gives Wessex Archaeology a voice in championing heritage issues at the heart of Europe.
This conference was a unique opportunity for organisations from all over the EU to come together and celebrate this occasion and discuss some of the issues facing Europe’s heritage. There were several distinguished speakers, including decision-makers and top-level representatives from EU Institutions at the event, such as José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission.
