Wessex Archaeology will be attending the Festival of Archaeology Finale at Hardwick Hall where there will a range of hands-on activities for youngsters (and adults!) including joust training, loom weaving and quill-writing.
Come and learn about Sheffield Castle and Harwick Hall's connected history, as well as the latest discoveries from the recent Sheffield Castle excavations. Our archaeologists will be on hand to showcase their latest findings and answer any burning questions. You will also be able to handle a selection of artefacts and design your own coin or token.
Festival events and activities will be located within and around the Hall Gardens and will be free to all. Booking is not required. Normal National Trust entrance fees apply for attendees wishing to enter the Hardwick Hall building.
