Pippa Treavett

After studying for a MSc in Society and Space at Bristol University, it was my dissertation exploring the relationships between media and government departments that led me to a career working in communications. From the National Trust, and National Archives to a range of central government departments, my communications career has included managing high profile complex internal and external communications campaigns. I’ve worked as an Account Director for award winning marketing and PR agencies overseeing and delivering integrated communications campaigns for consumer brands in heritage, finance, food and drink, marine, heritage and technology sectors.

As well as being lucky enough to have experience in a range of disciplines including brand development, reputation management, content creation and internal communications, I’ve worked in HR running recruitment campaigns and led comms for complex organisational change programmes. At Wessex Archaeology, I’m developing our internal and corporate communications. I’m motivated by understanding what really matters to people and coming up with creative ways to connect colleagues. I also still love the thrill of spotting a great story and pitching it to journalists.
