Expertise

Geophysics

I joined Wessex Archaeology in January 2016 as a Senior Marine Geophysicist where my role is to process and interpret geophysical data in order to identify features on the seabed of archaeological interest in conjunction with any palaeolandscape features of possible archaeological potential. Since joining Wessex Archaeology I have gained experience using GIS and software packages including Coda Survey Engine, IVS Fledermaus suite and Geometrics MagPick. I have also been trained in offshore survival and emergency training including BOSIET, which allows me to work onboard vessels and offshore installations across the UK sector.

I am motivated by my interest in submerged palaeolandscapes and discovering what they can tell us about the environment and living conditions of the past.

Outside of work, my love of the marine environment continues; I enjoy swimming, surfing and walks along the coast.
