Expertise

Heritage Consultancy

I joined Wessex Archaeology in November 2017 as a Heritage Researcher in the heritage team, based in Salisbury. I play a supportive role in the research and preparation of a variety of reports including; environmental impact assessments, desk-based assessments and heritage statements to inform and support planning applications. My specialism lies in Early Prehistory in north-west Europe, with a focus on wetland archaeology of north-eastern England.

I am motivated by the opportunity this role allows for me to continue my life-long education in archaeology. Furthermore, the role allows me to play an important part in the preservation and enhancement of the historic environment as well as maintaining relevance of archaeology in the modern and evolving world we inhabit. I am interested in thinking about how our past may impact upon our future. Outside of work I enjoy live music, politics, literature, cultural exploration and Middle Eastern dance.
